Adding a New Dispatch

From TrackItWare, users may create individual dispatches to allow for communication between third-party services and TrackIt.

  1. From the TrackItWare application, click the New Dispatch New Dispatch button button.

  1. Set the Type to New.
  2. Provide a name for the Nickname field.
  3. Provide a URL for the address of your TrackIt site, such as qa.trackitgps.com.
  4. Enter the Context for your company. This is found on the TrackIt Web Console in the Company Code field of the TrackIt Site Settings tab on the Site Settings screen.
  5. Enter a Username, which typically resembles an email address.
  6. Provide the Password associated with the Username.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Select the desired dispatch type from the Available Dispatch Types drop-down menu. This should match the interface you selected when first configuring licenses (e.g., Command Fleet or Systech v2).
  9. Click Next.
  10. Configure the settings here as desired.
  11. Click Add to finish setting up the interface.
