Status Type

Each question must be associated with a specific status loop. Selecting a type will determine what statuses are available to associate the question with.

Status

When a user enters a specific status, the question will appear on TrackIt Android. The status selected here will determine when the question appears in the loop.

Device users will always encounter the question upon entering the status.

Question

The question displayed on the device screen when entering the status is defined here.

We recommend always posing these as questions with the proper punctuation included so as to reduce the possibility of confusion in driver-entered responses.

Order

The placement of the question as it appears in the TrackIt Android is dependent upon its ordering. If multiple questions are associated with a single status, their orderIndividual requests for specific materials that are associated with a job. Some jobs may consist of multiple orders of varying products. determines which appears first.

Answer Type

The method in which a driver may respond to the question is determined here. Multiple options for answer types ensures that drivers enter the desired type of information for you to track from the Question Summary report.

  • Number without a decimal. Only whole numbers are allowed.
    • Number of Digits. The numeric response is constrained to this total digit count. For example, a 2-digit requirement means drivers cannot enter a quantity more than 99.
  • Number with a decimal. Numbers with fractional values are allowed.
    • Number of Integer Digits. The numeric response is constrained to this total digit count before a decimal is inserted.
    • Number of Fractional Digits. The numeric response is constrained to this total digit count after the decimal.
    • Format. This shows how a response would appear with both integer and fractional digits in place.
  • Word(s). A free-entry text response that the driver may provide with any details.
    • True/False (Yes/No). Drivers may only pick between two options, such as Yes or No.
    • List of answers. This displays a list of predefined responses that the driver must pick between. Additional behaviors such as question branching are not supported.
      • List Items. Click the Add ADD button button for each answer that drivers may select.
Each list item may not exceed 45 characters.
