Permission Bundles

Settings > Permission Bundles

Drivers, dispatchers, schedulers, and administrators each have varying responsibilities and may not need access to all components of the TrackIt Web Console. To restrict access or simplify usability for respective site users, you may use permission bundles to create groupings of screens based on a specific feature set or user task.

When you add screens to a bundle, users with this permission may only access the assigned screens.

After you create a bundle here, you must then associated it with a Permission Type, which is then assigned to each applicable Site User. When that user logs in on the TrackIt Web Console, only the pages associated with their permission type are accessible.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Permission Bundles.
  2. Click Add Bundle Type .
  3. Enter in a description for the bundle. This will most likely describe the jobA project that orders and tickets are grouped under. title for those who will use this bundle.
  4. From the Pages list on the left, select the pages you wish to include in the permission bundle.
  5. Press the right arrow button to add pages to the Selected Pages list.
  6. Remove any unwanted pages from the bundle by selecting them from the Selected Pages list and clicking the left arrow button.
  7. Click Save to finish adding the bundle type.
