Employee Group

Settings > Employee > Employee Group

Groups provide even greater filtering beyond Employee Type. You may customize groups to include employees across all types based on any set of criteria. This feature is fully customizable and can be used to group your drivers, supervisors, dispatchers, or any other subgroup.

This functionality is used most as a filterA search tool that restricts data queried based on factors like equipment type, employee groups, and date ranges. for reports or on the Equipment Map.

Examples of employee groups

  • Seasonal workers
  • Drivers under performance-based probation
  • Dispatchers at a specific plant

Adding a new group

At least one Employee must already exist in TrackIt Web Console or else you'll only be able to create empty groups.
  1. Navigate to Settings > Employee > Employee Group.
  2. Click Add New Employee Group ADD NEW EMPLOYEE GROUP button.
  3. Enter an Employee Group Name.

  1. From the Employees pane, select the desired individuals and click the Add to Group Right Arrow button button to add them to the group.
  2. To remove employees, select names from the Grouped Employees pane and click the Remove from Group Left Arrow button button.
  3. Click Save Save button.
