The locations you use for dispatching and batching are used in TrackIt to organize vehicleAll machines used as a means of production on a construction site or at a batch plant. fleets, direct drivers in TrackIt Android for navigating return trips, and report usage data. Having a plantA production plant or material storage location. added is a prerequisite for adding an Employee and adding Equipment.

Additionally, setting up a plant entails configuring contact information such as Phone and Email, in addition to specifying points of contact like Supervisor and Batch Man.

When creating a hotspotGeographic areas marked on a map that act as destinations for driver navigation or triggers for automated behaviors in TrackIt., you may associate it with a plant to establish a physical location for it on your map. From the plant's rollover on the Equipment Map, click the ADJUST SHAPE  button to manipulate the hotspot for a more accurate geographic dimension.

Plant Number	Numeric identifier for your new plant. This field is required for adding a plant.
Interface Number	Used for integrated systems. This field allows for different characters as well as numbers.
Description	Name for the plant. This should distinguish the plant from others, provide easy identification, and be brief.
Default	Mark this check box if the plant being added is the automatic plant equipmentAll machines used as a means of production on a construction site or at a batch plant. will be assigned to.
Accounting Job #	Number used if an integrated payroll system needs to identify the plant for accounting purposes.
Phone Number	Main phone number for the plant.
Supervisor	Name of the person supervising the plant.
Batch Man	Name of the plant batcher.
Email	Main email for the plant.
Area	Area the plant is in. This can describe the county, metro area, regionLarge-scale hotspots used to track fleet activity, such as at the state/province/city level., etc. the plant is located in.
Last Plant Color	Assigned color for a plant that distinguishes it from other plants or to associate specific equipment colors with the plant.
