Post Login EDC Assignment Handling | (TP1-2240) |
After logging into TrackIt on the device, there is now the capability to assign EDCs. This comes in handy if a mechanic and/or installer forgets to configure an EDC while at the yard.
This will give the end user the opportunity to click 'Start Discovery' to identify which EDCs are nearby and broadcasting, ideally narrowing the number of available EDCs.
If a truck has an associated EDC, it will display with the truck number (as seen below) and those available without a current truck assignment will display with an Assign button.
Once successfully assigned, the message will display confirming. Please note that this will not cause the EDC to immediately begin reporting. A log out and back into the system is required.
Installer Test Page/ Data Validation screen | (FE-2096) |
After completing the submission of all setup information on the Sensor Setup page, the Validate Installation button will activate.
See examples below. This page will populate the data according to setup. This is intended not only to validate the correct setup, but also functionality of the running hardware.
Verify after installation that you are receiving accurate data:
Direction and Speed of the drum.
Water Meter Installation with pulses and volume quantity
Washout Sensor Installation and on/off trigger with light indicator.
In this example, you can see all hardware pieces are installed and it provides additional information for the installer to verify as part of functionality.
In this example, you can clearly see the Washout Sensor was not included as part of the installation via the text next to the heading as well as verifying that the sensor is in an off position.
